The darkness before "Interstellar" came on.
I haven't seen a movie in a theater in months. It was this womb-like inner space that was dark, inviting, warm, and a safe place for hiding and/or disappearing. Movie theaters are democratic public/private places that exist somewhere between reality and fantasy. I need to go to the movie theater more often!
Btw, it's worth it to see "Interstellar" in IMAX.
